Hello,

My name is Carol Chavez.  I have been teaching piano for eight years.  I taught some of those years in a Yamaha Music Store in Denver and also taught group organ lessons there as well.  I have two years college piano.  I have played for churches and childrens’ choirs. 

My lessons will include technique, theory, ear training and sight reading.  When the student is ready, we may also do some improvisation or hymns or praise and worship music.

It is important that a student have a piano or keyboard with 88 piano sized keys, and a commitment to practice according to age.

Directions to my house for make-up lessons or initial evaluation are as follows:

Starting at Woodman and Meridian near Falcon Safeway, go North on Meridian about 4 miles to Rex Road.  Turn Left on Rex Road.  Go about 1 mile to top of a hill and turn Left on Chiming Bell Circle.  At next corner, turn Left on Chiming Bell Circle again.  The house is the first house on the left after the corner house.
